Location: Menomonee Falls, WI   Summary – basic function of the role You are a motivated, passionate Industrial Design Intern, looking to expand your design capabilities in a growing segment of industrial tools. Working as the liaison for customer you will design creative solutions based on usercentered product objectives. You will partner with innovation leaders, engineers, product management, and fellow designers to gather insights, define design criteria, and lead product design to ensure form language and product experience expectations are being met. This role will focus primarily in three areas: The first area will be working on active NPD projects where observation, brainstorming, concept generation, storytelling, and illustration will be core functions of your role. The second area will be working with various stakeholders in the company to ensure projects adherer to VBL guidelines, manufacturing constraints, and ensuring the user centered features remain intact through a variety of in house projects. The final role is to think big picture and use your curiosity to create products, solutions, or applications that have never before existed in the industry. Job Duties and Responsibilities 1. Participate in product research and uncover opportunities that effectively translate needs into actionable design requirements. 2. Involved heavily in upfront concept ideation and development, solving newly found needs and opportunities. 3. Participate in the design, development and refinement of physical products and graphical user-interfaces. 4. Use thought strategy to develop user experiences for our products through both digital and physical means. 5. Generate creative design proposals by using a variety of illustration techniques to provide visual portrayals of design directions. 6. Use computer software to develop virtual models and renderings of different designs to communicate design intent to internal teams, stakeholders, and business partners. 7. Ability to create physical prototypes that represent accurate design directions to gain alignment and direction with our CoE teams. 8. Work with CoE teams, Enerpac Operations, and other specialists such as mechanical engineers or manufacturers to evaluate whether their design concepts will fill a need at a reasonable cost Skills and Competencies 1. Creativity that extends beyond product design. 2. The passion to create and build something from nothing on our Design & Innovation team. 3. Possess an understanding of the design process and have successfully applied it to multiple projects. 4. Well versed in product form language, ergonomics, user-centered design, design for manufacturability and product interaction. 5. Curiosity in a changing landscape of design, technology and user experience trends. 6. Have a foundation of user empathy and creative storytelling. 7. Strong consumer centric approach to design, demonstrating strong design thinking processes and methodologies. 8. Experience in Pro-E, SolidWorks or equivalent 3D software tools. 9. Highly proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, SketchBook Pro [Digital Sketching], as well as analog sketching. 10. Excellent demonstration of rapid visualization, including quick ideation sketching. 11. Understanding of mechanical design. 12. Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communications skills, including the ability to communicate concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. Major responsibilities of this position include assess equipment to determine if rental product or customer owned equipment needs only basic refurbishment or if it needs to be repaired. The condition of the equipment will determine level of disassembly, troubleshooting, assembly, testing, and packaging of the tools received. Maintain existing plant facilities and equipment; replace or make adjustments to plant facilities and equipment when necessary. - Provides for and delivers a centralized site-wide communication process and ensures that all visual communication materials are kept up to date; proactively communicates issues or concerns to off-site department and business leaders. - Responsible for facilities maintenance and ensuring a safe and reliable work environment. - Fulfil and satisfy HTUS Rental Ops Equipment rental orders as needed and maintain equipment fleet availability levels. - Test, calibrate, and certify the accuracy of equipment per work instructions and calibration dates. - Repair tools & equipment, which includes disassemble, inspect, troubleshoot, replace parts, reassemble tool, inspect, and test for proper operation. Knowledge required for this function includes basic understanding of gear trains, mechanical systems, and electrical circuits.  Interpretation of drawings, work instructions, and other specifications are required. - Use of precision measuring/testing instruments, gauging devices, and performing various quality inspection type procedures to include dimensional verification and non-destructive testing. - Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment repairs and document all repairs while maintaining a high level of organization.  - Manage repair part stock levels within area required as well as initiating purchase requisitions as needed for customer approved repair parts. - Pass equipment refurbishment and repair training and demonstrate proficiency in meeting daily output goals. - Process rental equipment and part component shipping and receiving transactions in Oracle (Company ERP System).  - Drive continuous improvement, 5s, and other housekeeping duties for the workshop, yard and storage areas. - Carry out driving duties in accordance with the Company’s requirements. - Participates in the On-call rotation that may include occasional evenings and weekends. - If required, will possibly need to pass fork lift & other driving functions as specified to job sit. - Transport equipment between local facilities/customer sites; this includes delivering and picking up rental equipment in a company truck. Summary – basic function of the role   The NTX Cell Technician manufactures product using 5-axis machining concepts.  Primary functions of position include manufacture and completion of whole process part machining utilizing integrated mill and turn center functionalities.  Setup of equipment, operation of equipment and operating multiple pieces of equipment in cycle are major responsibilities. As the leader of over 20 world-wide employees, you will oversee the implementation or upgrades of new modules, and drive continuous improvement through the business. This role coordinates ERP maintenance and enhancement efforts to leverage enterprise resources, knowledge, and best practices. You will strategize and partner closely with business and technical leadership, serving as an expert resource, bringing forth opportunities to leverage the ERP to better the business and influence decisions regarding business process changes.  This position will report directly into the VP – IT.   Shift: Monday – Friday: 3 days onsite, 2 days remote (Hybrid)    Job Duties and Responsibilities - Provides senior leadership, vision and managerial oversight in the development and implementation of Enerpac’s ERP strategy that enables staff to operate efficiently. - Works on highly complex business issues that have significant impact on the enterprise, and across enterprise processes and functions, due to the integration of ERP. - Oversees ERP projects, including project planning, resource allocation, and steering committee leadership - Works with stakeholders and the ERP steering committee to define a prioritized set of business outcomes and work to accomplish those outcomes within the timelines agreed upon. - Provides hands-on guidance to stakeholders in ERP modules including manufacturing, finance, warehousing, and supply chain management - Coaches and mentors staff and IT managers at multiple levels - Designs and leads a training program to enable efficient use of the ERP system by staff in multiple functional areas. - Identifies areas for process automation and works with cross functional teams to develop workflows. - Manages multiple ERP applications and integrated software applications   Skills and Competencies - Candidate must have the proven ability to serve as an effective member of a senior management team, be an effective leader to a team of highly skilled employees and consultants - Design, manage and lead advisory committees and interact effectively with process leaders, auditors, business leaders, consultants, vendors, and stakeholders. - In-depth knowledge of Oracle EBS in a manufacturing environment. Experience in architecting solutions in multiple Oracle ERP modules. - Ability to analyze current state environment and recommend improvement opportunities and then lead the implementation of those changes. - Candidate must have strong and proven leadership experience, business acumen combined with hands-on technical expertise in an enterprise-wide information technology department as it pertains to ERP and other applications. - The ability to lead, enable and motivate teams by providing advice and guidance in a constructive fashion - Ability to document and effectively communicate standards - Highly effective in conducting and leading project meetings and negotiations   Education and Experience   Education Requirements: - Minimum 12 years of Information Technology experience including 8+ of management experience with solid background in Oracle ERP administration.   Direct Reports - Multiple direct team members in the IT department including Business Analysts, Developers, and functional subject matter experts. - Managers of regional support teams.   Key External Contacts/Clients Vendors, customers, global teams, etc   Diversity Statement We are committed to recruiting, hiring, training, and promoting qualified people of all backgrounds, and make all employment decisions without regard to any protected status.
